The Manager is responsible for the administration of the team and works cooperatively with the coach,
convenor, and the league representative. A manager’s role is one of the most important on a hockey
team. This individual works diligently behind the scenes for the smooth operation and running of the
team. The task appears enormous for a newcomer but with the following helpful information, one will
become quite adept at the role you have so graciously volunteered for. Delegation of specific tasks may
also prove helpful. Everyone must work together off the ice like the team on the ice to have an enjoyable
and memorable season of hockey!
