Information Regarding COVID Vaccinations

Dear Parents, Coaches, Volunteers and Hockey Supporters

We are all aware of the constantly changing landscape that the COVID pandemic has had on our CPGHA hockey programming. We, the executive of the CPGHA, are doing as much as we can to keep you informed as we adapt our policies and procedures for the 2021/22 season.

That said, please be aware that the CPGHA must abide by the strictest policy as set out by the Province, Public Health Unit, Municipal facilities operators or the OWHA. Presently, we have had clarification that all Lanark facilities will require proof of vaccination for all those born before 2010 to enter their facilities. Additionally, the link below is to a letter from the OWHA which outlines their requirements for participating within the OWHA system, of which CPGHA is a  member.

Currently, we expect that Proof of Vaccination for all those born prior to 2010 will be required. As we understand it today, there will be only a very limited number of exceptional cases for which an exemption would be given. We continue to investigate to understand how we will monitor and track vaccination status while maintaining individual privacy. Please bear with us.

OWHA COVID-19 Requirements

What we can suggest is that if you or a participant born prior 2010 has not been vaccinated, that you strongly consider booking an appointment ASAP.
